LSMAD
Life Safety Machine Analysis Detection
Method-driven operational ecosystem
At the municipal level, LSMAD should be regarded not only as a safety method for an individual facility, but also as part of a broader urban operational environment in which signals, anomalies, and pre-incident states require earlier differentiation and more precise contextual understanding.
Its economic significance at this level is connected with the possibility of improving situational awareness, reducing part of the burden created by poorly prioritised signals, and shifting part of the costs from late interpretation into earlier and more manageable operational handling. The method does not replace municipal systems, but may become one of their structural layers.
At the same time, it is important that the methodology underlying the LSMAD ecosystem is multidomain in nature and is not dependent on one specific type of data source or one specialised measurement theory. It can be integrated into different contours of urban smart infrastructure because it does not require the replacement of the entire environment with new sensors, but only the presence of measurable data and information flows. For this reason, implementation of the method does not require the prior rebuilding of the whole urban infrastructure: it can operate in parallel with existing contours and can be combined harmoniously with the gradual replacement or modernisation of individual elements as their life cycle comes to an end.
